Obama repeated these words after every sentence, and like a hypnotized population of German drones from another time period, the crowd chanted back; yes we can.

A black President of The United States of America? Yes we can.

A black man to lead his country in suppressing democratic foreign economies to protect his own? Yes we can.

A black man to continue the bombing and slaughter in the Middle East to gain control of oil reserves? Yes we can.

A black man to support dictators who's economic views benefit Americans far more than their own people? Yes we can.

A black man to continue stealing civil rights, which his ancestors fought so hard to gain, through the use of the Patriot Act? Yes we can.

A black man to perform the wishes of gigantic corporations who paid for the most expensive campaign in history? Yes we can.

A black man to bail out wealthy bankers who sold their countrymen and nation out in the name of the green greed that seems to forever fornicate new generations of sociopathic suits? Yes we can.

And so as the camera's panned over weeping black celebrities including Jesse Jackson and Oprah Winfrey, I remained stoic and disenfranchised as disgust reigned over my emotions.

His skin color may have changed but America's belief in their "freedom" of hypocrisy has not. And as much as people dream to believe things will suddenly change, they will not.

The only thing I can be grateful for tonight is that a pageant queen princess psychotic religious nut and a near death shell of a Senator did not gain office to further flush the U.S.'s and world economies down the toilet while furthering the war in Iraq.

This coming American election, which was first billed as the clean campaign, has turned into a vicious eye gouging cockfight as the Republican backroom weasels have tried to mold Senator John McCain into the next President through attack ads, fear mongering insinuations, and outright lies against his opponent Senator Barack Obama.

Following in step with the right wing political masterminds who happen to be her bosses, Palin delivers rehearsed speech after speech to thundering applause at Republican rally's, stating half truths while inciting the mob to the point of calls of treason being screamed from the crowd.



It is now so obvious that the extremist have come out in overwhelming support, much to the chagrin of McCain, as they vocalize their opposition to a black man running for Presidents(which they try to hide) while using assertions that he is connected to Muslims and former terrorists(just to clear things up for international readers, in the U.S. the general consensus is that being a Muslim makes you a terrorist.)

Unfortunately for McCain, his attacks and smearing of Barack while effective to the redneck racist crowds, have backfired as he becomes associated with the extreme hate filled regressives of his nation. After making an embarrassing, and some might argue, costly move by canceling on David Letterman, McCain returned to be thoroughly outwitted and called on for his propaganda techniques.

As the election nears, and the anger begins to boil over, one must ask the question, how soon before violence erupts?

And if Barack managers to secure the Commander in Chief position, how long before an attempt on his life?

The Republicans won't have an answer but as economic uncertainty continues and they begin to slip further in the polls, expect them to increase the negative campaigning while hoping their childish tactics will do enough damage to put their man in the top spot, society be damned.

High Expectations, Super Alien Athletes, and China's Engineering

Prediction:

By 2020 China will have a super race of genetically engineered pigmy gymnasts who take the sport to a radical and unprecedented new high. In my vision of China's future I see miles of incubator tanks buried beneath the earth's surface where humans are grown to fit into their career and parenting specific categories.



I, for instance, might want a short child with terrible hand eye coordination but a highly developed medulla oblongata. This will ensure that my puppet, err child, will never be able to bludgeon me to death. For one, they will be so uncoordinated and physically undeveloped that their blows would feel like soft massage touches of a British princess. Secondly, their emotional intelligence will have surpassed that of a Buddhist monk because of their ridiculously enhanced medulla oblongata and nothing I could say or do would ever illicit a violent physical reaction.



If you think China ignores copyrights now, imagine what they’ll do in the realm of biotechnology and genetics. With their enormous amounts of pollution and poor air quality, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the first nation to cure cancer genetically.



Or more likely, create a massive race of zombie-like superhumans.

The wacky Beijing Olympics were a massive success in many respects for the new growing superpower in the East, but they were also a comedic success for the growing poverty blogger in the West (that’s me!). Let’s reveal some of China’s shenanigans

1)Propaganda

China is like the submissive wife of a violent alcoholic husband who goes overboard in acting nice and “perfect” to the neighbours in hopes that they don’t notice the obvious.

The fact they’re so worried about other countries and their opinions flies in the face of most Eastern philosophies that North American spiritual guru’s like to expulse.



Tao is undifferentiated - Because Tao itself has no shape or size, all comparisons fall within it, so there can never be 'real' differences. Often this is used to suggest a neutral, giving attitude.

China is undifferentiated – Not quite. They aren’t very neutral or giving when they suppress the press (HA! Rhyme), execute political opposition, or takeover large areas of farmland to put in a giant damn and displace thousands of people in the meantime?

Tao returns -This concept is often used to argue against forceful action, on the grounds that Tao (and its manifestations) will flow back, circumvent, and eventually undo any attempts to force it into a particular path.

China returns –Does this mean that eventually Tibet will flow back to independence?
